C.J. Cron Undergoes Surgery On Broken Hand

According to Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim first basemen C.J. Cron has undergone surgery on his broken left hand.
The Angels announced CJ Cron will have a procedure done on his left thumb today & said he’ll miss 6-8 weeks. He broke his left hand in July.

Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register also reported the news.

Greg Beacham of the Associated Press confirmed the news.
Angels slugger CJ Cron is getting some debris cleared out of his left thumb today. He’ll need 6-8 weeks of recovery time.

Cron played in a career high 116 games to go along with a career high .278 batting average. With the surgery he will have plenty of time to heal before spring training.
