The Lakers are just 2-9 to start the year. They have a extremely young team so effort and energy should never be lacking. Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace, Brandon Bass, Marcelo Huertas, and Nick Young are the only ones above of 29.
With the youth the Lakers should be able to push the basketball and create opportunities in transition. The Lakers defensive effort was great on Sunday but poor on Monday.
If the Lakers want to turn things around they need to commit more effort to the defensive end to the basketball as well.
