Boudreau was the head man of the Ducks for five years before being let go this offseason. He led the team to four straight division titles, the same thing he did with the Washington Capitals before his time in Anaheim.
Although Boudreau has had success is the regular season it hasn’t necessarily translated into playoff success to the liking of the Ducks organization. The club suffered four straight game seven losses at home that ultimately led to his dismissal.
