Brett Wallace Working Through Foot Injury

@sdutSanders

According to A.J. Cassavell of MLB.com San Diego Padres first basemen Brett Wallace is suffering from a sore foot injury.

Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union Tribune also reported news on the injury.

Although the injury is minor it’s never good to hear of injuries before Opening Day. Wallace is a former first round pick by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2008 MLB Draft.

Wallace spent four years with the Houston Astros before joining the Padres last season. With San Diego he played in 64 games hitting five home runs to go along with 16 RBI’s.

If Wallace can stay healthy he should have a big year for San Diego. We will continue to monitor the progress of the injury and keep you up to date.
