Pomeranz is former first round pick of the Cleveland Indians in the 2010 MLB Draft. The All-Star has spent time with the Colorado Rockies and Oakland Athletics before joining the Padres this season.
This season with the Padres he has posted a 8-7 record with a 2.47 ERA. In 102 innings of work he has recorded 115 strikeouts. With the Padres struggling they are looking to sell their assets for prospects.
