Rosenthal reported further information about the trade.
#Dodgers’ plan, at least right now, would be to keep both Chapman and Jansen. Build strength from back of bullpen with price of SP so high.

The Dodgers already have a great closer in Kenley Jansen. Rosenthal reported information about that dynamic.
Players who know Jansen do not believe he would react well if he lost closer’s job with #Dodgers set to acquire Chapman. Stay tuned.

After losing out on Zack Greinke the Dodgers have focused on improving their bullpen. Chapman is one of the hardest throwers in the business and is a four-time All-Star.
Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reported that the Dodgers did not give up prize possessions Corey Seager and Julio Urias in the deal.
Chapman deal is agreed to with dodgers. 2 prospects to reds. (not seager, urias or deleon). Pending medicals
