The fluke injury comes at the worst time for the Los Angeles Clippers. Los Angeles was looking to win game four in Portland and head back to LA with a 3-1 lead. Instead the best leader in the NBA goes down and the series is now completely different.
Blake Griffin was also dealing with an injury throughout the game. The left quad that bothered him for most of the year began to bother him tonight and he was forced to miss time throughout the game.
With Paul out Austin Rivers will most likely get the assignment of Damian Lillard the rest of the way. The Clippers have a tough task on their hands as they will play the pivotal game 5 at home on Wednesday.
