BREAKING: Brett Anderson Out 3-5 Months

According to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brett Anderson will miss three to five months due to back surgery.

Plunkett also reported further details on the surgery.

Ken Gurnick of the Los Angeles Times reported that Anderson dealt with back issues in 2014.

Anderson signed a one-year 15.9 million dollar qualifying offer this offseason with the club after having one of his best seasons as a pro last year.
Anderson pitched a career high 180 innings posting a 10-9 record with a 3.69 ERA. Los Angeles will have to look at other options for their starting rotation.
