Brandon Mebane Out For The Year

According to Ian Rapport of NFL.com, San Diego Chargers defensive lineman Brandon Mebane will miss the rest of the year with a torn bicep.

Chargers coach Mike McCoy confirms torn biceps for NT Brandon Mebane. “We’ll be without (him) for the rest of the year. That’s a big loss.”

Mebane is a former third round pick of the Seattle Seahawks in the 2007 NFL Draft. He spent the first nine years of his career with the Seahawks before joining the Chargers in the offseason.
This year Mebane had played and started in all 10 games. He recorded 1 sack and 21 tackles, but also made his first interception of his career.
