Bass brought a veteran presence to the Lakers this season alongside Metta World Peace to help groom Julius Randle. With Byron Scott no longer the coach of the Lakers and Luke Walton coming in, it will be interesting to see if the Lakers look to retain Bass or look to go in another direction.
One thing that is certain is the Lakers roster will look drastically different next season. With salary cap space and a high draft pick expect Mitch Kupchak to get creative this summer in constructing the roster.
