Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union Tribune reported his approval of the deal.
Antonio Gates showed last year he’s still dangerous. Also, he’s a team-oriented star. Would love to see him in a Super Bowl someday.

Gates, one of the greatest Charger players of all-time will try to complete the mission of winning a Super Bowl before he retires. He served a four game suspension for PED use and when he came back showed signs of being a top TE at times.
He is getting older but is a fan favorite and a major part of the club. Philip Rivers and Gates have connected for so many touchdowns and fans look forward to another few years of that tandem.
