Blake Griffin Stuns Rockets, Clippers Win Game One

Blake Griffin‘s dominance, and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Houston Rockets without Chris Paul 117-101 tonight. Game one of the series took place in Houston and the Clippers were able to steal home court advantage.

Paul who willed the Clippers to a game 7 series clinching victory over the Spurs injured in left hamstring in that game. Although he was able to fight through the pain in that game he was unable tonight. Austin Rivers got the start for him.

Blake Griffin dominated tonight as he had a triple double and lead the Clippers tonight as he had 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 13 assists.

The Clippers proved once again that they can play on the road just as well as at home, and all with just fourty-eight hours to prepare.

Austin Rivers showed off his talents tonight as he started tonight, he had 17 points. Oh, and J.J. Redick showed us all what he can do as he also scored 17, and DeAndre Jordan racked up 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks! Jamal Crawford also put up 21 points, and Matt Barnes had 20 points and 3 assists.

The Clippers will return home on Wednesday night to host the Houston Rockets in Game 2 of the second round!
