Blake Griffin Named Western Conference Player of The Week

According to Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has been named the Western Conference player of the week.

Griffin is a former first round pick of the Clippers in the 2009 NBA Draft. Griffin is returning to from a knee injury and has been playing some of his best basketball of the year.
Griffin recorded a triple-double in a loss to the Toronto Raptors where he scored 26 points dished out 11 assists and recorded 11 rebounds. The bigman then put together a 32 point outing in a win against the Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks on ESPN.
Los Angeles was able to escape the Garden with a four point win. Griffin concluded his week with 20 points, 8 assists, and 12 rebounds against the Charlotte Hornets.
