Blake Griffin Leads Clippers To Game 4 Victory

Blake Griffin scored 20 points and 19 rebounds and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the defending champion San Antonio Spurs 114-105 in game four of the series. With the win the Clippers and Spurs are tied at 2 apiece heading back to Los Angeles.

Griffin scored 20 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to go along with 7 assists tonight. He was excellent as he and Chris Paul combined for 54 Clippers points.

Paul lead the game in scoring with 34 points he also had 7 assists and 3 rebounds. DeAndre Jordan had 6 points to go with 14 rebounds and Jamal Crawford reached double digits off the bench with 15. J.j. Redick added 17 points as well.

The big story of the night was Austin Rivers ability to get hot off the bench as well. After much criticism of Doc Rivers traded for his son it looks as if the move paid off. Rivers scored 16 points on 7/8 shooting.

For the Spurs Kawhi Leonard led the way in scoring. He had 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. Tim Duncan continued his strong play as he had 22 points and 14 rebounds.

Tony Parker had a strong game with 18 points. Boris Diaw (10), Patrick Mills (14), and Manu Ginobili (10) reached double digits off the bench for the Spurs.

Neither team shot well from the three today, but the Spurs poor free throw shooting hurt them tremendously today.

With the series tied at 2-2 the Clippers will host the Spurs on Tuesday night.
