Blake Griffin and the Clippers were in control the whole night as they beat the Rockets 102-85. The Clippers continued their long road trip tonight, as they were coming off a win against the Detroit Pistons.

Blake Griffin scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help beat the Rockets who were without Dwight Howard for the 5th game in a row. Jamal Crawford added 21 points including 4 three pointers. Chris Paul chipped in 10 points, dished out 7 assists and added 5 steals to the night.

The Clippers have just one more game left on the road trip, and Doc Rivers told ESPN.com this about his team’s play.

“It tells you that their confidence is starting to grow,” Rivers said. “I’ve always thought that when your team has confidence they have energy. They don’t get tired. I thought that’s what that was (Friday).”

For the Rockets they were playing with Howard, Patrick Beverley, and Terrance Jones due to some various injuries. James Harden scored 16 points, and Trevor Ariza added 13 to lead the Rockets.

It was a struggle for the Rockets as they shot just 39% from the field. The Clippers will conclude their road trip tonight as they take on the Utah Jazz.
