Breaking: Dodgers Acquire Howie Kendrick

According to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com the Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired Howie Kendrick from the Los Angeles Angels.

The Dodgers acquired Andrew Heaney in a trade earlier today moved in immediately for Kendrick.

Kendrick is 31 years old and hit .293 last season for the Angels. With Dee Gordon shipped out in a deal for Andrew Heaney the Dodgers quickly filled the void at the second base position.
Howie Kendrick is in the final year of his contract and is set to make almost $10 million dollars. Many Angels fans will get to see the highly touted prospect Andrew Heaney as he was considered a top-20 prospect by MLB.com.
