Austin Rivers Expected To Re-Sign With Clippers

According to Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Clippers are expected to re-sign guard Austin Rivers.
Hearing that Austin Rivers back to the Clippers could get done in the next few days.

Marc Stein of ESPN.com reported that the Clippers are working to re-sign Rivers but also sign free agent Josh Smith.

Bobby Marks who spent over 20 years in the NBA reported some of the budget restrictions the Clippers have on Rivers’ contract.

He continued.
Part 2: He would have received had the team exercised its option. 2014-15 salary $2,439,840 x 127.5%= $3,110,796.

It is well documented that Rivers is the son of Head Coach Doc Rivers. Austin came into his own in the playoffs and the Clippers will rely on him heavily off the bench next season.
