The Lakers are off to their worst start in franchise history, as Sunday night’s loss dropped them to 1-9.
On the other hand, the Atlanta Hawks are coming off a loss of their own. The Hawks were blown out against the powerful Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 127-94.
Hawks guard Jeff Teague told ESPN.com this about the loss:
“Nobody likes losing and not in that fashion, in blowout fashion, so we’ve got to use it as motivation,” guard Jeff Teague said. “It was just a rough game, but you’ve just got to throw this one away and bounce back.
Lakers head coach Byron Scott hinted that the Lakers may make a change in the starting lineup. The Lakers defense is currently the worst in the league by far. He had this to say about the manner:
“Patience is running thin,” said Scott, who admitted he’s on the verge of scrapping his entire defensive philosophy. “And it has nothing to do with execution. … You can only execute if you’re going through it hard, if you’re giving that energy and that effort every single time.
The Hawks are a much better team at home, and they hope to get back in the win column. The Lakers will look to gain their first win on the road this season tonight.
