Kopitar has spent his entire 10 year career with the Kings winning two Stanley Cups. He took home the Lady Byng Trophy as well as the Frank Selke Trophy last season.
Last season Kopitar appeared in 81 games and recorded 74 points, 25 goals and 49 assists. It will be a good experience for Kopitar to captain the team of his country and we are all looking forward to the World Cup of Hockey.
