Anze Kopitar Named Finalist For Lady Byng Trophy

According to the NHL Network Los Angeles Kings center Anze Kopitar has been named a finalist for the Lady Byng Trophy.

The Los Angeles Kings official public relations department also reported the news.

NHL.com defines the the Lady Byng Trophy as:
“The Lady Byng Memorial Trophy is an annual award given to the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability.”

Kopitar is also up for the nomination of the Selke Trophy as well. The 28-year old had a great season with the Kings and signed an extension with the club during the year.
