Angels Snap Dodgers Win Streak 4-0

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim used a strong start from Ricky Nolasco to end the Dodgers 10-game winning streak on Monday night. With the win the Angels have won three in a row.
Nolasco pitched 6.1 innings and allowed 5 hits while walking 2 and striking out 5. He picked up his 3rd win of the year with the win.
On the other side Rich Hill got the start. He pitched 7 innings allowing 4 hits and 3 runs. He walked 2 and struck out 7 as he picked up his 4th loss of the year.
The offense got started in the 3rd inning when Yunel Escobar hit a RBI single to right that brought in Cameron Maybin and Kole Calhoun.
In the 4th inning Danny Espinosa hit a sacrifice fly that brought in Andrelton Simmons to push the lead to 3-0. Martin Maldonado hit a solo shot in the 9th inning to cap things off and the Angels won 4-0.
Anaheim and Los Angeles will square off again tonight at Dodger Stadium. Jesse Chavez and Kenta Maeda are the projected starters.
