Angels Sign Yusmiero Petit

According to the official Twitter account of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the club has signed free agent pitcher Yusmeiro Petit.
The #Angels have signed RHP Yusmeiro Petit to a minor league contract with an invite to Major League Spring Training camp.

Petit has spent time with the Florida Marlins, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants, and Washington Nationals throughout his career. Petit won the 2014 World Series with the Giants.
Last season with the Nationals Petit posted a 3-5 record with a 4.50 ERA. He pitched in 62 innings and struck out 49 batters. The Angels will look to finalize their roster has Spring Training approaches in the coming weeks.
Anaheim is looking to improve after they failed to make the playoffs last season.
