Angels Sign Ramon Ramirez

According to Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed veteran pitcher Ramon Ramirez to a minor league deal.

Ramirez was first signed by the Texas Rangers in 1996. Over his nine year career he has spent time with the San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, and Baltimore Orioles.

Ramirez has not pitched substantial innings in the majors since 2012. Below are his career statistics.
