Angels Sign Luis Valbuena To 2-Year Deal

According to Robert Murray of FanRag Sports, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed infielder Luis Valbuena to a two-year contract worth about 15 million dollars.
Luis Valbuena’s deal with #Angels, per his agents @ESG_Baseball: $6.5M in 2017, $8M in 2018, $8.5M mutual option for 2019 w/ $500K buyout.

Greg Beacham of the Associated Press also reported the news.

Valbuena has spent time with the Seattle Mariners, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs, and Houston Astros. Last season with the Astros Valbuena played in 90 games and hit 13 homeruns to go along with a .260 batting average.
Valbuena has spent the last two years with the Astros.Valbuena also hit 17 doubles and drove in 40 runs. With the signing the Angels are looking to improve their depth on the roster.
