Angels Sign Justin Upton To Extension

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Southern California News Group, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed outfielder Justin Upton to a five-year extension worth $106 million.

Fletcher reported further information on the news.

Upton went to Twitter to share the news.

Jon Morosi of the MLB reported that Upton will have a no-trade clause as part of his deal.

Upton, 30, will turn 31 this August as he embarks on another season. The outfielder is a four-time All-Star after spending time with the Arizona Diamondbacks, San Diego Padres, and Detroit Tigers.
