Angels Sign Chris Young

According to Jeff Flecther of the Orange County Register, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed free-agent outfielder Chris Young.
The #Angels have signed OF Chris Young to a one-year major league deal, in addition to the minor league deal with Chris Carter.

The Los Angeles Angels confirmed the news on their official Twitter account.
Today, the #Angels agreed to terms on a one-year contract with OF Chris Young and a minor league contract with an invite to Spring Training with INF Chris Carter.

Young is a former 16th round pick of the Chicago White Sox in the 2001 MLB Draft. He has spent time with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets, New York Yankees, and Boston Red Sox throughout his career.
Last season he had a batting average of.235 to go along with seven home runs and 25 RBI’s. He also had 12 doubles with the club.
