Angels Recall Jefry Marte

According to Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com the Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem have recalled Jefry Marte.
Jefry Marte is taking the roster spot of Kaleb Cowart. Yunel Escobar remains day-to-day.

Gonzalez also reported that Marte would play third base tonight.

Marte will bat fifth tonight against his former team. Here is the rest of the lineup for tonight.

He appeared in 33 games for the Detroit Tigers last season and made 90 plate appearances.
Marte hit .213 to go along with four home runs and 11 RBI’s. This a minor move for the club as they sent Kaleb Cowart down to the Triple-A.
