Angels Rally Back To Beat Phillies 5-4

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim used late rally to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-4 on Thursday night. For Anaheim they have won three in a row and five out of their last six games.
For Anaheim Parker Bridwell got the start. He pitched 5 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 runs. He struck out 4 and walked 3 as he was awarded a no decision for his efforts.
On the other side Jered Eickhff got the start. He pitched 6 inning along 3 runs and 3 hits while walking 4 and striking out 5. He was also awarded the no decision.
The offense started in the first inning when Mike Trout hit a two-run homer that brought in Ben Revere. In the second inning Nick Williams hit a 2-run shot of his own that brought in Odubel Herrera and tied the score at 2 apiece.
Freddy Galvis followed with a 2-run single in the inning that brought in Hyun Soo Kim and Cesar Herandez and pushed the Phillies lead to 4-2.
Ramon Flores hit a sacrifice fly to right field in the fourth inning that brought in Kaleb Cowart and trimmed the lead. C.J. Cron grounded out in the 8th inning that brought in Cliff Pennington. Andrelton Simmons scored on a wild pitch and gave the Angels a 5-4 lead.
Bud Norris came on in the 9th inning and shut the club down for his 17th save of the year.
