Angels Rally Back, Beat Blue Jays 4-3

The Los Angeles Angels used 2 runs in the 7th to rally back and beat the Toronto Blue Jays 4-3 on Wednesday night. This marks two in a row for the Halos.
Jered Weaver got the start for the Halos. He pitched 7 innings allowing 4 hits and 3 runs. He struck out 4 and walked 3 as he picked up his 3rd win of the season.
On the other hand Drew Hutchison was the Blue Jays starter. He pitched 6.2 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 runs. He struck out 5 and walked 2. He was awarded his first loss of the season.
The offense started in the 4th inning with a total of 4 combined runs. Matt Joyce walked with the bases loaded to bring in Mike Trout and the Angels took the 1-0 lead.
In the bottom of the inning Chris Colabello hit a RBI double to deep center field that brought in Jose Bautista and tied the game at 1-1. Ezequiel Carrera followed with a RBI single to bring in Colabello to give the Jays a 2-1 advantage. Danny Valencia joined the action with a double of his own to bring in Carrera and after 4 innings the Angels led 3-1.
In the 5th inning Trout hit a solo shot. It was his 11th of the season and cut into the lead 3-2.
In the 7th inning Marc Krauss hit a 2-run double to left that brought in Erick Aybar and Trout. That served to be the winning runs.
Joe Smith pitched a clean 8th inning for the Angels. Huston Street came on in the 9th and struck out 1 as he picked up his 14th save of the year.
The Angels will conclude their series with the Blue Jays tomorrow night at 4:07 p.m. PST.
