Santiago is a 28-year old pitcher who was a 3rd round pick to the Chicago White Sox in the 2006 MLB Draft. He spent the first three years of his career with the Sox and has spent the last three with the Halos.

Santiago was an named an All-Star for the first time in his career in 2015. This season in 20 starts, Santiago sports a 8-4 record with a 4.32 ERA.

With the Angels struggling this season they may become sellers at the deadline and Santiago could be a great addition to a team seeking starting pitching.
