According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have shown interest in free agent first basemen, Carlos Santana.

Santana has met with Boston Red Sox officials today Heyman reported.
Red Sox have been meeting with carlos santana’s people. As many as 10 teams are in on him, but boston said to be a “great fit”

“The Mets, Angels and Phillies are new surprise players for Indians free agent first baseman Carlos Santana in what could wind up being spirited bidding for the second-best first-base option on the market.”
Santana has spent his entire eight-year career with the Indians. Last season with the club he played in 154 games and hit .259. He hit 23 home runs and had 79 RBI’s.
