Angels Ink Neal Cotts

According to Mike DiGiovanna of Los Angeles Times the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have signed veteran left handed pitcher Neal Cotts.

Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com also reported the news.
Angels signed veteran LHRP Neal Cotts to a Minor League deal. 3.41 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, 2.64 SO/BB last year; held LHH to a .573 OPS.

Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register also reported the news.

Cotts is a former second round pick of the 2001 MLB draft. He has spent time with the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Minnesota Twins, and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Last season he appeared in 68 games and posted a 3.41 ERA. He will start the season in Triple-A and have a chance to work his way back to the big leagues.
