Salas spent four years with the St.Louis Cardinals before joining the Angels in 2014. Last season he posted a 5-2 record with a 4.24 ERA.
He made a career high 72 appearances and pitched in 63.2 innings. He struck out 74 batters last season which is a good piece to have in the bullpen in big situations.
The Halos have been busy over the last few days signing players in order to avoid arbitration. It is still unknown if they plan to make a splash with another outfielder.
