According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have hired former Gold Glover Eric Chavez as a special assistant to general manager Billy Eppler.
Confirming that Angels have hired former Gold Glove 3B Eric Chavez as a special assistant to GM Billy Eppler.

Chavez worked with the New York Yankees last season and that is where he and Eppler have a connection. For those wondering how many more Yankees personnel Mark Feinsand reports that will be it.
Eric Chavez joined Billy Eppler as a special assistant with Angels, but source says that’s the only Yankees person going with Eppler to LAA.
