According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have declined their option on outfielder David Murphy.
Confirmed Angels have declined $7M option on David Murphy. Not a big surprise. Likely would be 4th OF for Angels, so $7M a bit much.

Experts are reporting that the Halos may still try to bring Murphy back at a lower price that 7 million a year. He hit .265 with 5 home runs last year for the club.
At this point of his career Murphy is probably not a everyday player but could be a great addition to a clubhouse.
