According to Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com the Los Angeles Angels have declined to offer contracts to Gordan Beckham, Yoslan Herrera, and Wade LeBlanc.

The Angels made the announcement of these decisions on these players last night which saved the Angels an estimated 6 million dollars.Gonzalez had this to say about the Beckham situation.

Gordon Beckham was set to make 5 million dollars in arbitration, and the Angels were not willing to pay that much. Even though 5 million isn’t much in the baseball world, it is a decent amount of money for someone who was most likely going to be a backup.

General manager Jerry Dipoto told Angels.com this about Gordon.

“We’d love to have Gordo back,” Angels general manager Jerry Dipoto said. “I think he’s a great fit. For us, it would be as a utility player — play a little second, a little third, some short. I think he knows that there would be a fit for that kind of player here. Hopefully we’re able to find a common ground now that he’s a free agent.”
