Coyle is a former third round pick of the Red Sox back in the 2010 MLB draft. So far this season he has played 64 games in Double-A and Triple-A.
He has struggled to hit the ball batting just .165 and has 86 strikeouts. Anaheim is hoping that a change of scenery will help Coyle get back on the right track.
