Angels Beat Yankees 8-3

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim used a big seventh inning to secure a victory over the New York Yankees on Tuesday night 8-3. For the Yankees they have now loss seven in a row.
For Anaheim Parker Bridwell got the start. He pitched five innings allowing two runs, two hits, while walking five, and striking out three. For Bridwell he picked up his third win of a season.
On the other side Michael Pineda got the start. He pitched 5.2 innings allowing seven hits, three runs, while striking out seven. He was awarded a no decision for his efforts.
The offense got started in the first inning when Albert Pujols hit a RBI single that brought in Cameron Maybin.
In the second inning it was Danny Espinosa hit a RBI double that brought in Eric Young Jr. Kole Calhoun hit a RBI single that brought in a run as well and after the second inning that Angels led 3-0.
Chase Headley got the Yankees on the board with a sacrifice fly that brought in Starlin Castro. Aaron Judge hit a solo home in the fifth inning to trim the lead. Aaron Sanchez hit a home run of his own in the 6th inning that tied the game at 3-3.
In the 7th inning Maybin hit a solo shot. Yunel Escobar followed with a RBI triple, and Luis Valbuena hit a RbI single that pushed the lead to 6-3.
Maybin drove in Martin Maldonado in the 8th and Valbuena hit a solo shot in the 9th and the Angles went on to win 8-3.
Anaheim will take on the Yankees today at 4:05 p.m. PST. Ricky Nolasco and Jordan Montgomery are the projected starters.
