Angels Beat Red Sox 4-2

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim scored three runs in the second inning to beat the Boston Red Sox by a score of 4-2. Anaheim has won three out of the last four games.
For the Angels Parker Bridwell got the start. He pitched 6.2 innings allowing two runs while striking out four. For his efforts he picked up his second win of the year.
On the other side Doug Fister got the start. He pitched 6 innings allowing 7 hits and 3 runs. He walked 3 and struck out 6 as he picked up his first loss of the year
The offense got started in the second inning for the Halos. Danny Espinosa reached on a fielder’s choice that scored Andrelton Simmons. Kaleb Cowart followed with a RBI double to left center that brought in a run. Juan Graterol hit a RBI single that pushed the Angels lead to 3-0.
Mitch Moreland hit a solo home run for the Sox in the bottom half of the inning to put them on the board. Jackie Bradley a solo home run of his own int he fifth inning that trimmed the lead to 3-2.
Cowart hit a RBI single in the 9th inning that brought in Ben Revere that pushed the Halos lead to 4-2. Yusmieiro Peitit picked up his first save of the year.
