Angels Avoid Arbitration With Andrew Heaney

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have avoided arbitration with right-handed pitcher Andrew Heaney.
Can confirm that #Angels Andrew Heaney has agreed to a deal for $800K, as @JonHeyman reported. All these arb deals are one-year only, unless otherwise stated.

Friday is the day for teams and players to exchange arbitration figures. Expect the #Angels to reach deals with many (if not all) of these players by then: Maldonado, Richards, Shoemaker, Skaggs, Parker, Alvarez, Cron, Bedrosian, Heaney, Ramirez.

Heaney has spent time with the Miami Marlins and Angels throughout his career. Last seasson with the Angels he posted a 1-2 record with a 7.06 ERA in five games of work. He threw in 21 innings and struckout 27 batters.
