Angels Acquire Shane Victorino

The Los Angeles Angels announced via their official Twitter account that the team has acquired Shane Victorino from the Boston Red Sox.
Today the #Angels have acquired OF Shane Victorino and cash considerations from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for INF Josh Rutledge.

The veteran outfielder was gained in exchange for infielder Josh Rutledge.
The Boston Red Sox tweeted the following:
#RedSox today traded OF Shane Victorino and cash considerations to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in exchange for INF Josh Rutledge.

Victorino played out most of his career with the Philadelphia Phillies, which is where he has gained two All-star selections and won two World Series titles. He is posting a .245/.324/.298 slash line in only 94 at-bats and 33 games played at Boston, where he has spent the past 3 seasons.
Shane Victorino has been affected by injuries while at the Red Sox. He has even been placed on the 15 day DL.
