Angels Acquire Chris Jones

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim have acquired left handed pitcher Chris Jones from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for Nathaniel Delgado and Erick Salcedo.

Alden Gonalez of MLB.com also reported the news.

Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reported further details of the move.

#Angels acquisition Chris Jones was reliever for much of his nine-year minor league career but has started in last two seasons.

Jones will add depth to the Halos pitching staff. He has spent career in Triple-A but the Angels are hoping that he will be able to earn some playing time at the Major League level. With baseball season right around the corner it’s going to be a big year for the Halo faithful.
