Angels Acquire Andrelton Simmons

According to Buster Olney of ESPN.com the Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem have accquired Andrelton Simmons from the Atlana Braves.
The Angels have traded for Andrelton Simmons.

Olney reported further details to the trade.
The Angels gave up their best pitching prospect, Sean Newcomb, to get Andrelton Simmons. Both sides did well.

Simmons is known for his defense and Olney is excited to see the defensive plays between Mike Trout and Simmons.
The Angels will own the web gems in 2016, between Mike Trout and Andrelton Simmons.

After spending the year in Atlanta, having no chance at the playoffs Simmons is excited to be on a contending team.

Simmons was a 2nd round pick in the 2010 MLB draft to the Braves. He has won 2 Gold Gloves with the club in 2013 and 2014.
Last season Simmons hit .265 with 23 doubles. He is not a offensive powerhouse but his defense is one of the best in the league.
