Andrelton Simmons Listed As Day-to-Day

According to Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim shortstop Andrelton Simmons is listed as day-to-day after x-rays came back negative after being hit by a pitch in last night’s contest.
X-rays on Andrelton Simmons’ right thumb and left hand showed no fractures. He is day to day. #Angels

Andrelton Simmons has a left hand and thumb contusion, the #Angels announced.

Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles shared his thoughts on the news.
Kendall Graveman drilled Andrelton Simmons in the hand with a 94-mph sinker. Simmons stayed in for one inning but has now exited the game.

Simmons is a former second round pick of the Atlanta Braves back in the 2010 MLB Draft. He spent four years with the Braves before joining the Angels in 2016.
