While the news has come as a surprise to many, it is believed that the Orioles are in the market to add a left handed bat in the outfield.
Andre Ethier was the subject trade talks for most of this offseason until the Dodger moved the beloved Matt Kemp to the Padres.
It will be interesting to see how these trade talks progress due to the large contract Ethier is owed over the next three seasons. Although the Dodgers did move Kemp, Ethier is available due to his subpar season last year.
The 32 year old hit just .249 with 4 home runs last season. The new Dodger management has not been afraid to make their share of moves and you never know what they have up there sleeve.
Currently the projected outfield for the Dodgers is Carl Crawford, Joc Pederson, and Yasel Puig, which makes Either the odd man out.
