Ethier left the game for precautionary measures. It is not expected to be a serious injury but the club will continue to keep an eye out for the injury over the next few days.
Ethier is slated to be the starting left fielder this season for the club. Last season Ethier battled injuries and played in just 16 games for the club. He hit .208 with one homerun but is looking to have a much better year in 2017.
