Anaheim Ducks Take On Winnipeg Jets

The Anaheim Ducks will take on the Winnipeg Jets in Winnipeg on Sunday afternoon. Anaheim is coming off a 4-0 victory over the Boston Bruins.
Winnipeg comes into the game with 29-37-5 record while the Ducks sport a 39-22-9 clip. The Jets have lost their last two games entering tonight.
Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports that John Gibson will be in goal today.
As he noted previously, BB confirmed that John Gibson gets the nod for the Ducks against Jets.

Stephens also reported the Nate Thompson will be out today.

For the Jets Matt Halischuk could miss today’s game with illness. Winnipeg also recalled Chase De Leo from AHL Manitoba as an insurance policy.
The Jets are led by Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele. Wheeler leads the team with 62 points, 18 goals and 44 assists. Scheufele is second on the team with 46 points, 23 goals and 23 assists.
Anaheim will look to build on their last win with a similar effort today.
