Anaheim Ducks Keep Winning, Beat Oilers in OT

The Anaheim Ducks keep rolling as they beat the Edmonton Oilers last night 2-1 in overtime. With the win the Ducks have won seven straight.
After on goals in the first two periods Anaheim broke the deadlock in the first 45 seconds of the third period. Ryan Getzlaf scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by David Perron and Cam Fowler to give the Ducks a 1-0 lead.
A minute later Edmonton responded with a goal of their own. Jordan Eberle scored a wrist shot goal that was assisted by Benoit Pouliot and Cam Talbot and just like that the score was tied at 1-1.
Anaheim held a 12-3 shots on goal advantage in the period but was unable to get push another goal across and the game headed into overtime.
The new overtime 3 on 3 is one of the most exciting things to watch in sports and after a minute and a half Anaheim scored the game winning goal.
Rickard Rakell scored a backhanded shot that was assisted by Sami Vatanen and Getzlaf and Anaheim kept their winning streak going.
Up next for the Ducks they will take on the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night.
