- Updated: February 24, 2016
The Anaheim Ducks roll into tonight’s game on a five game winning streak. They will look to push this streak to six win they take on the Buffalo Sabres at the Honda Center.
Anaheim is coming into the game with a 31-19-8 record while the Sabres sport a 24-29-7 clip. Buffalo has won three of their last five games.
The Sabres will be without Ryan O’Reilly who is out for three-to four weeks with a lower-body injury. The club called up Cal O’Reilly to help fill the void. Cody Franson travelled with the team. He has been dealing with a neck injury but may play tonight in Anaheim.
With O’Reilly out, Jack Eichel and Rasmus Ristolainen lead the team in points. Eichel has 41 points on the season, 17 goals and 24 assists. Ristolainen ha 35 points on the season, 8 goals and 27 assists.
Anaheim is the hottest team in hockey thanks to their offense taking over. They should handle the Sabres tonight as they try to cut the LA Kings lead to two points. Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reported some news on the race.
Kings beat Flames, 2-1, to move lead in Pacific Division back up to four points.
