Amar’e Stoudemire Agrees To Buyout; Clippers Interested?

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in signing free agent Amar’e Stoudemire.
Sources: Clippers and Mavericks have strong interest in Amar’e Stoudemire, but one dark horse with level of intrigue is San Antonio.

Stoudemire, the former All-Star reached an agreement with the New York Knicks Sunday night on a buyout. He was in the final year of his max contract that he had signed with the team back in 2010.
Amar’e production has dropped almost every year since signing the contract with the Knicks and after being a part of losing as much as they have this season he made the decision that it was time for a change.
There are many teams interested in the six-time All-Star. Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders reported how the Clippers aggressiveness may change since they have been unable to get a trade to go down.
Clippers have been trying very hard to make trades, but they don’t have assets. They’ll try to sign bought out players to bolster roster.

As the trade deadline approaches fast the Clippers will in the midst of a lot of rumors. It will be interesting to see just what the Clippers will end up doing.
